The SAM kit is a mechanism for 18 mm adjustable slats designed to create windbreaks, shutters, palisades, fences, etc. It covers a height of 485 mm and is used with a manual opening system with stopper. To achieve the desired length, join as many kits as necessary. If your length is less than that of the kit, it can be recut with a hacksaw.
The polypropylene kit (30% glass-fibre reinforced and UV-treated) has excellent mechanical properties, and is highly resistant to wind speeds of up to 110 km/h and temperature fluctuations (from -20°C to +90°C).

Pre-drilling is recommended on metal structures to prevent screw breakage.
If you don’t want to cut the boards, allow a space between the beams of 1034mm for wood boards, i.e. 1000mm for the length of the board, 30mm for the thickness of the kit (15mm on each side) and 4mm operating clearance, and 2034mm for aluminum boards. Caution: do not leave a gap of more than 4mm to avoid the risk of the blade falling out.
For use with wood or PVC slats, we strongly recommend a maximum length of one meter. Do not use high-density species, such as exotic or solid wood. We recommend the use of very stable wood (softwood type) such as red cedar of carpentry quality or our THT wood strips.
Please note that screws and blades are not supplied with the kit.
