Keep it simple by ordering this wood slat pack. It contains all the essential components for assembling your bioclimatic pergola or louver. It can be installed on either a wood or aluminum frame. One pack covers an area of 1 m² and is compatible with both motorized and manual ( crank-operated) opening mechanisms.
Pack Contents:
– 10 Ayous wood slats measuring 20x97x1000 mm, treated with high-temperature treatment (THT) to limit wood expansion
– 2 black SAM kits (487 mm) for 20 mm slats
– 16 steel screws with screw heads matching the color of the mechanism
– 4 black locking latches
Installation Tips:
It is recommended to pre-drill holes in metal structures to prevent the screws from breaking.
If you do not want the slats to be cut to size, leave a space of 1034 mm between the beams—that is, 1000 mm for the slat length, 30 mm for the kit’s thickness (15 mm on each side), and 4 mm for operational clearance. Caution: Do not allow more than 4 mm of clearance, as this could cause the slat to fall out.
The wooden slats overlap slightly, which means your pergola won't be watertight.
