Keep it simple by ordering this aluminum slat kit. It contains all the essential components for assembling your bioclimatic pergola and can be installed on either a wood or aluminum frame. One kit covers an area of 1 m² and is compatible with both motorized and manual ( crank-operated) opening mechanisms.

📦 Pack contents:

– 5 white aluminum slats, 20 x 99 x 2000 mm
– 1 white SAM kit, 485 mm, for 20 mm slats
– 10 steel screws, with screw heads matching the color of the mechanism
– 2 white locking latches

🛠️ Assembly instructions:

It is recommended to drill pilot holes in metal structures before installing the kits to prevent the screws from breaking.

Allow for 2 mm of expansion clearance at each end of the plank (4 mm total) before inserting it into the supports. Caution: Do not leave more than 4 mm of clearance between the supports, as the plank could fall out.

If you do not want the slats to be cut to size, leave a space of 2034 mm between the beams—that is, 2000 mm for the length of the slat, 30 mm for the thickness of the kit (15 mm on each side), and 4 mm for operational clearance (2 mm on each side).

Tip if you need to cut the planks: To determine their length, measure the distance between your joists and subtract 34 mm (15 mm for the thickness of the kit and 2 mm of expansion clearance for the plank on each side). Example: distance between joists = 1,500 mm, so the length of your planks = 1,500 – 34 = 1,466 mm

⛈️ Weather protection:

The profile of the aluminum slats features grooves that allow them to interlock and limit exposure to rain when closed. However, they do not provide a watertight seal, and water may seep through depending on weather conditions and the installation configuration.

Caution: Be sure to open the slats in case of strong winds or snow.
