The SAM kit is a mechanism for adjustable blades sold in pairs (right and left) of 20 mm for use in pergolas. It covers a depth of 487 mm and can be used with a manual or motorized opening system. To achieve the desired length, connect as many kits as necessary. If your length is less than that of the kit, it can be cut to size with a hacksaw.
The polyamide and polypropylene kit (30% glass fiber reinforced and UV treated) has excellent mechanical properties and very good resistance to impact and temperature fluctuations (from -20°C to +120°C).

It is recommended to pre-drill holes in metal structures to prevent screws from breaking.
If you do not want to cut the slats, allow a space between the beams of 1034 mm for wooden slats, i.e. 1000 mm for the length of the slat, 30 mm for the thickness of the kit (15 mm on each side) and 4 mm for operating clearance, and 2034 mm for aluminum slats. Please note: do not leave a clearance greater than 4 mm, as this may cause the slats to fall.
For use with wood or PVC boards, it is strongly recommended not to exceed a maximum length of one meter. Avoid high-density woods, such as exotic or solid wood. We recommend using very stable woods (such as softwoods) such as carpentry-grade red cedar or our THT wood boards.
Please note that screws and blades are not included with the kit.
